Hi, I'm Dionne
Hummingbirds are tiny, vibrant wonders of nature. Native to my home country of Trinidad and Tobago, they can fly backward, embodying the spirit of the impossible. They remind us to embrace life, find balance, and tap into our inner strength. That same spirit of thriving against the odds is what inspires my work. My goal is to help people move with clarity and confidence, whether they’re navigating a career change, advancing in their role, or learning to show up fully without relying on perfection to feel secure.
With over 20 years of experience as a communications strategist and graphic designer, and over 10 years as a Confidence Coach and Certified Resume Writer, I’ve built a career around one thing: helping people communicate in ways that land. For individuals, that means resume writing and coaching that strengthens how you show up in real life, from interviews to tough workplace conversations. For organizations, it means internal communications consulting that helps leaders deliver messages employees can actually understand and act on.
In my corporate career, I’ve worked with some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Meta, Johnson & Johnson, Rolls-Royce, and Kimberly-Clark. From communicating annual programs to simplifying complex changes, I specialize in turning HR jargon into clear, human communication that builds trust and drives action.
And yes, I can catch typos, grammatical hiccups, and punctuation quirks faster than a hummingbird flaps its wings.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me indulging my true passion: French fries. Hand-cut, lightly salted fries are my love language, and I’m an unapologetic purist—no ketchup, no nonsense. I’m still waiting on the day science officially declares fries an excellent source of protein, and I remain optimistic.
When I’m not obsessing over the perfect fry, you’ll find me traveling, spending time with family, or diving into interior design projects. I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from Morgan State University and Rutgers University, respectively.
Whether it’s helping a company connect with its employees or helping an individual lead and communicate with confidence, I believe every story deserves to be told clearly and well.
